Sycamore Grove, Barchester Care Home, Stone Cross – Dementia Cafe – We at Sycamore Grove want to offer our services to help signpost people in the community to aide with any questions you may have about dementia. We are starting our very own dementia cafe which will be held bi-weekly from the first Tuesday of the month to sit, have a coffee, meet people in similar circumstance and get help and guidance if you need any. We will put on cake, coffee, and an activity each time we host a cafe and would love for anyone who wishes to come along and see how we can help with a slice of fresh cake and nice hot coffee. Pie & a Pint Gentleman’s Community Club Bowes House – Join us in our bar area for a sociable chat with other gentleman from the local community over a pie and a cold pint. Carers welcome too! Take the opportunity to meet our friendly team and explore our beautiful home. Hailsham House Memory Cafe – The memory cafe is launching on the 8th March and thereafter the 2nd Friday of each month from 2pm – 4pm. The Good Company People –  provides regular dementia-welcoming social events, a support service to help carers supporting people living with dementia and hosted days out to help over 65’s, many of whom are experiencing cognitive changes or living with dementia get out and about in Good Company. RSM (Rotherfield St Martin) has been providing friendship, wellbeing and support to older members in our community (Rotherfield and surrounding areas) for the past 20 years. Everything we do is fully accessible for those living with dementia or cognitive decline. As a team we are led by our Dementia Champion Iona and supported by Lou who has lived experience of being a carer for her mother. We are supported by a team of wonderful volunteers that offer support where needed and who really want to make a difference. For unpaid carers we have ‘Time To Talk’, a friendship based group, supporting each other through a lively WhatsApp group and monthly catch ups at RSM – “It is so good to chat honestly with others in the same boat”. You can find us at our hub in the Memorial Institute, Rotherfield. We are open each weekday 9am to 5pm. The door is always open, the kettle always is always on and we have homemade cake! Singing Down Memory Lane – Every 1st and 3rd Friday at St Augustine’s Church Hall, Bexhill, TN39 3AZ. A free song and dance group session for people living with Dementia and their carers. Entry is free and includes a raffle ticket, tea, coffee and biscuits. Adult Bereavement Support – Bereavement support is available to the family and friends of anyone cared for by St Wilfrid’s. We offer one-to-one counselling. We can also offer advice and information to support you. We can support you

St Wilfrid’s Hospice Seahorse Project – We also offer bereavement support for children and young people aged from 6-17 through our Seahorse Project. We have trained counsellors who can talk to you about how you are feeling and help you to work those feelings out.
